I cooked bacon and eggs this morning. It was a big event. The bacon got a bit too cooked, but it was still awesome.
This is but one of the many beautiful sights of Amsterdam.
They really do have carpet on the tables! This is an old pub in Bergen, the town where Sarah's aunty lives and where Sarah's mum and aunty grew up.
The view from Sarah's aunty's place. Green and flat. I reckon if I moved to Holland I'd live out in the countryside. Sarah still prefers the city regardless of which country she's in.
This panorama is of the Dam - the central square in Amsterdam. We also visited the red light district but you're not allowed to take photos of the scenery there.
Sarah's friend Jooean was leaving for Copenhagen as I arrived in Amsterdam.
Just when you thought they couldn't give you less legroom. At least I got to watch more movies.
Waiting to board my flight to Amsterdam. Could have taken a better photo.
The view from seat 55k. I think they got ideas for the seating layout from a sardine can or perhaps I should have left my legs at home.
Kickin' it in the departure lounge at Sydney airport.
I have the feeling this will be my last breakfast of bacon and eggs until I get back.
I'm using the 'Blog this' feature of my new phone! This is a photo of Dad on the eve of my departure. Note the fangs.
